Warning:Nothing is Free

I was just thinking about starting a new experiment to see how much things can be done on the web that we traditionally consider as desktop applications. Also an earlier article on lifehacker about free web hosting and the growth of web 2.0 that allowed numerous user generated content got me interested on how well I can build authority site for minimum cost(or even better totally free). I will let you all on those two aspects as I continue to do my research on it. But this phenomena on all great free things in the web was a topic that we should all give some though to. Today I saw a great post on readwriteweb on the whole concept of free stuff and how dangerous it is. Although I like free stuff(who doesn’t) I agree with most of the things said in this post as it is logical. But there are areas that I do not agree with, I will refer to them in a later post.
